<div>Check out all the analysis from Lakeshore!</div> <div> </div> <div>18 Open - FaR Out 18 Black finished off a nice weekend in Grand Rapids by sweeping through the field on Saturday and Sunday.  Only Unified 18-1's scored more than 20 points against FaR Out.  Unified took 2nd and Impact 18U Rey took the bronze medal.</div> <div> </div> <div>18 Premier - Dead Frog Arnie copied FaR Out 18's success in Premier by sweeping through all 5 of their matches over the weekend.  In the final, Arnie Kengis's group beat FaR Out 18 Red to take the Premier division crown.</div> <div> </div> <div>18 Club - In probably the most exciting 18's final, Chicago Elite 18-2's had to go 3 sets with Five 1 17 Adidas to claim the 18 Club crown.  Five 1 17's, playing up a division, were led by setter Bailey Crandell and outside Rylee Zimmer.</div> <div> </div> <div>17 Open - In a solid 12 team field, Far Out Gold came in as the 2 seed in the event, and lived up to expectations by capturing the 17 Open Volleyfest Championship.  Far Out is led by Andelyn Simkins (#6 in Prep Dig 2019 rankings) and 2 big time middles in Maggie McCrary (#10) and Natalie Foster (#11).  FaR Out ran in to Milwaukee Sting 17 Black in the final.  Sting met up with MVA 17 National Black in one semi and Far Out finished Dead Frog 17 Black in 2 for the other semi. <div> </div> <div>17 Premier - In a recap of the 17 Premier division, Motion Volleyball out of Wisconsin, got the better of MVA 17 National Silver in the finals 22-25, 25-13, and 15-13.  MVA went 3 with Redline Elite in one semifinal and Motion took out Team D 17 White in two in the other semi.</div> <div> </div> <div>17 Club - In 17 Club, MVA 17 Elite Blue beat Krush VBC National in 3 with the final set going 15-9.  MVA easilly handled North Branch 17's 25-21 and 25-14 to get to the final.  Krush also moved to the final with an easy 25-15, 25-20 win over Glass City 17 Elite out of Ohio.</div> </div> <div> </div> <div> <div>16 Open - In 16 Open, Milwaukee Sting 16 White tops MVA 16 National Black 25-18, 19-25, 16-14 to take the open crown.  Sting beat Dunes 16 Black in the semi and MVA took out Empowered 16 Elite Red in the other semi to advance.  </div> <div> </div> <div>16 Premier - In 16 Premier, Krush 16 National topped a surprising Crank It Rissman team in the final 25-20 &amp; 34-32 to take the 16 Premier championship.  What is surprising about this match up is the fact that these two were in a day 1 pool together.  In the first match, Krush handled Crank It a little more decisively 25-16 &amp; 25-20.  In the semi's, Crank It beat Michigan Elite 16 National East 25-13 &amp; 25-13.  Krush took down Dunes Teal in 3 in the other semi.</div> <div> </div> <div>16 Club - Maybe in the best final of the tournament, Glass City beat Chicago Elite 16 Elite in the final 25-27, 25-22, &amp; no this isn't a typo, 23-21,  It was a good thing the finals were a battle because both teams rolled through their semifinal matches fairly easily.  Glass City won their semi over Northshore 16 Gold 25-12 &amp; 25-23.  Chicago Elite beat Summit 16 Orange 25-16 &amp; 25-14.</div> <div> </div> <div>16 Classic - Chicago Elite 16-2's rolls through the 16 Classic field to win the title.  In the finals, Chicago Elite beat Summit 16 White 25-11 &amp; 25-12.  </div> </div> <div> </div> <div> <div>15 Open - Far Out 15 Black is a group that is going to be fun to watch develop over the years.  They are as big and physical as any team in the country in that age group.  Without a blemish on the record, Far Out rolled through the division to take the crown.  Defeating a solid Chicago Elite team in the finals 25-10 and 25-11.  Chicago Elite got passed Milwaukee Sting 15 Black in 2, 25-22 &amp; 25-23.  Far Out swept through Dunes 15 Black in the other semi.  Other Michigan teams with solid tournaments were Team D 15 Red and Michigan Elite 15 Elite East.</div> <div> </div> <div>15 Premier - Team D 15 White prevents Far Out (14 Black) from taking the top 2 divisions in 15's.  Team D 15 White beat Far Out 14 Black 25-23 &amp; 25-22.  In the semi, similar to the final, Team D beat Dunes 15 Teal 25-17 &amp; 25-23.  Far Out 14 Black's impressive run started against Far Out 15 Gold and MVA 15 Elite Blue.</div> <div> </div> <div>15 Club - In the 15 Club divisions, the semifinals had two epic battles between four teams striving to win on Sunday.  In the first semi, Michigan Elite 15 NS West took 3 sets to oust Saints Team 5.  Elite won 25-23, 14-25, and 15-13 to move on.  In the other semi, Chicago Elite 15-2's battled Summit Orange for the right to play Elite.  Chicago Elite 15-2 won in two but in the final set, it took several set and match points to finally finish the job.  Chicago Elite won 25-20 &amp; 35-33 to move on to the final.  In the final, the Illinois sqaud was too much for the Michigan Elite girls.  Chicago Elite 15-2's took the championship with a 25-22 &amp; 25-19 sweep.</div> <div> </div> <div>15 Classic -  In the 15 Classic division, Summit 14 Orange took out a red hot Michigan Elite 15 Topaz team in the final.  Michigan Elite represented 4 of the 8 quarter-finalists in the 15 Classic division.</div> </div>
