Wuebker is the current offensive leader in the GWOC at 165 total kills. The Panthers are 7-2 overall and rely heavily on Wuebker’s arm as she overwhelmingly has seen more attempts for her team than any other attacker. She is averaging 4.7 kills per set and brings a very athletic and dynamic style to her play as a big offensive threat on the left side.
Lily Reidy – 2022 | Northmont
Reidy is currently among the top-five attackers for total kills and has played the fewest sets among those that have surpassed the plateau of 100 kills total on the season. She is averaging 3.77 kills per set. Her biggest output this season was 25 kills in a three-set loss to league leading Centerville.
Defense
Maya Zinkiewicz – 2025 | Wayne
This freshman has made a big impact for the Warriors and their ability to get some wins thus far in 2021 after a winless season a year ago. Wayne is 5-6 overall and in large part to their ability to shore up their defense and ball control. Zinkieiwicz and teammate Samara Wilcox are currently 2nd and 1st overall in total digs respectively. Her simple approach helps her make good moves to create opportunities for her team. They are also both among league leaders in total passing points.
Serena Baker – 2023 | Fairmont
Baker is the league leader in total blocks at 30. She is an athletic middle that has good mobility across the net that benefits her game on both sides of the ball. She can be productive with her arm from this position when Fairmont can get their offense in system to be able to utilize their middle options as she can score in front and behind the setter. Defensively, she is averaging 3.3 blocks per match.
