Julia Beer – 2022 | Perrysburg
The 5’9 senior outside hitter has been an offensive force for the 14-1 Yellow Jackets, currently ranked #9. She is averaging four kills per set while hitting .339 on the season. She has a big arm as she can generate good power through a variety of attack points. She gets her feet to the ball well, which creates good balance in the air so she can move the ball around off her arm without minimizing her power much. Her season high is 23 kills in an early 3-2 win over Maumee.
Grace Ganz – 2022 | Olentangy Liberty
The Patriots are 14-1 overall and currently ranked #3. They have very good balance in their offense as they have five attackers that have earned between 60-110 kills on the season. Ganz is a key factor in this production given her ability to pass and also create transition opportunities with her defense. She is averaging nearly 13 digs per match, leading her team in this aspect of the game.
