The Polar Bears are 13-3 overall and on a four-match win streak following their recent 3-2 win over Edison. The 5'8 Eisenhauer is averaging 3.9 kills per set and totaled 17 kills on Tuesday to lead three athletes in double-digit kills. On the defensive side, she picked up 24 digs. When she gets her feet to the ball and has good rhythm in her approach work she can generate good arm speed that can produce a lot of pace that can get the ball onto defenders quickly.</p>
<p><strong>Ashley Newell</strong> - 2022 | Rivier View<br />
The 6’0 senior had 16 kills for the Black Bears in their 3-1 win over John Glenn. She terminated 50% of her attempts on the evening and hit a .469 efficiency. On the defensive side she added three blocks. For the season, Newell is averaging 3.4 kills per set. She sees a lot of attempts in River View’s offense and is most effective around the setter through quick tempo options. River View is currently 12-4 overall.</p>
<p><strong>Nicole Niven</strong> - 2022 | Loveland<br />
Niven led Loveland to a 3-0 win in ECC play as she tallied 17 kills while hitting .424 for the match. She also totaled four blocks in the win. She has 154 kills on the season for a 2.6 kills per set average. The 5’10 opposite attacker showed a nice display of range and power in their win over Little Miami as she was able to move the ball around with good control while also finding moments of open space and good rhythm to generate some heat.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="153888" first="Ashley" last="Walker"]</strong> - 2023 | Sycamore<br />
The 5’10 outside hitter led the Aviators to a 3-2 win over Lakota East as she had a well-rounded match on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she totaled 19 kills on 55 attempts. She was one of three players on her team to earn double figure digs as she collected 11 in the win. She has been a big factor for Sycamore as she is their primary offensive threat in seeing the most attempts on the season. She can score from either side of the floor and has good vision that helps her adjust to move the ball around with good pace and location. The junior is averaging 4.5 kills per set. This includes a 30-kill performance in a 3-2 win earlier in the season.</p>
