Continue ReadingWith the Top 250 Expo approaching, we are going to take a look into some new faces coming into this weekend’s expo of the class of 2025. Five athletes are new faces to me and are new faces to this year’s expo as they are transitioning from youth programs to high school training.
Emily Blanken– Burlington Central
Blanken stands at 5’2″ and has the potential to break out of her comfort zone and become a stock rising player during her time during her high school career. The Libero and defensive specialist is going to be one to watch as she is like most of our 2025 group, new and has the desire to prove her talent out on the court. I look forward to starting my following of Blanken and her career this weekend.
Cate Dejlitko– Saint Viator
Dejlitko stands at 5’7″ and is another new face that I am going to have the ability to watch this upcoming weekend. She is fresh and going to be new on the court, however, this gives me and herself the opportunity to fully assess her talents in various areas such as fundamental training, skills and drills and the set foundation that she has. I look forward to seeing what she brings to the table.
Sadie Denk– Lockport
Denk is another member of the class of 2025 whom is going to have the opportunity to showcase and learn new skills with this upcoming weekend’s expo. Between the training opportunities and the ability to pick up on learning opportunities, I am interested on the adjustments that are going to be made for Denk and her ability to reach beyond her comfort zone.
Alexandria Goritz– Huntley
Goritz stands at 5’7″ and is yet another athlete I look forward to meeting and watching perform this weekend. Goritz is a new face and new name and I am excited to see her bring her best efforts out on the court and look forward to following her journey in rising to an elite athlete. From her fundamental training and foundation, this weekend will be an opportunity for Goritz to be familiar with her strengths and weaknesses and I am curious to see how she works well with other athletes that are above and share her skill level.
Sarah Jack– Burlington Central
Jack is going to be an athlete that we are going to want to watch after this weekend as well, considering that she is another athlete whose name and face is new to the volleyball scene. I am excited to see what talents and current skill set that she currently has and the skills she is going to walk away with after this weekends expo.
