Why the rise?
Heider became one of the most lethal and dominant outside hitters in the 5A classification this season, and could arguably be one of the most lethal and dominant outside hitters in the State. Competing on an elite club team, NPJ 18-1 Forefront, a team that finished #1 in the region last season, launched Heider towards a rapid improvement. This high school season she could not be stopped. Heider will be returning to play for NPJ 18-1 Forefront this club season.

Why the rise?
Although Davis has been battling a broken fibula the past couple of months, she came into her own last club season, competing for NPJ 18-1 National (Bend). On this team, she was their go-to attacker, leader, and consistent force. Physically, she has grown and put on muscle over the past two years, helping her become a powerful six-rotation attacker. Davis will be returning to play for NPJ Bend 18-1 National this club season before heading to Sacramento State University in the fall.

Why the rise?
Harrington was finally given the opportunity to shine this high school season for the West Albany High School Bulldogs after playing behind Elijah Sanders (2021) for three seasons. She was the primary setter this season, running a 5-1 with exceptional skill. She was given the opportunity and ran with it, there was no stopping Harrington and the Bulldogs this season. Harrington will be returning to play for NPJ 18-1 Forefront this club season before heading to Virginia Commonwealth University in the fall.

Why the rise?
An explosive offensive threat, Seward was a pillar for the Sweet Home High School Huskies this past year and has been since her freshman season. Her and Hartsook (2021) were pivotal in the Huskies’ impressive run to a 4A State title last season, although an unofficial title due to the COVID-19 pandemic halting the OSAA State tournaments for the season. Spending a chunk of her training on the sand translates well to the court. She is an explosive and dynamic athlete. Seward will be competing for NPJ 18-1 Forefront this club season before heading to Austin Peay State University in the fall of 2022 to be a part of their court and sand volleyball teams.

Running a 5-1 for the South Salem High School Saxons, Leeks instills confidence and leadership on the court. She does an exceptional job getting her middles involved and mixing up the set locations. She uses her height to her advantage and puts up a very strong block. Switching clubs this season, Leeks will be competing for OJVA 18-1 National.

Why the rise?
A four-year varsity setter and three years playing all six rotations for the Mazama High School Vikings, Fenner has been the backbone of this squad since she entered the program. A versatile and athletic player, she has been trained as a setter but showcases steady ball control and a great attack. Her passion and love of the game shines through when watching her compete. Fenner will be returning to play for Basin Bombers 18-1 this club season.

Pangburn has shown steady improvement over the past few years and was an integral part of the South Eugene High School Axes lineup. After losing their starting setter Glenzel (2021), the Axes looked to Pangburn to fill in that gap in their lineup and she rose to the challenge. She will be competing for Webfoot Jrs 18-1 National team this club season.

Why the rise?
Monahan showcased significant improvement playing for the OJVA 16-1 National club team last season as one of the starting middle blockers. This team dominated in the CEVA region, placing 1st in the 16U division. She is quick in transition and contributed mightily to the success of the Lake Oswego High School Lakers this season, and the seasons prior. Monahan will be competing with OJVA 17-1 this club season (due to her birthday she plays an age group below her grade) before heading to Hawaii Pacific University in the fall.

Brickey really came into her own this high school season playing as a six-rotation outside attacker for the Summit High School Storm. Her improvement this past year has been substantial, playing at a high level during club ball with NPJ. With an insanely fast arm swing and a high vertical jump, she is lethal on the attack. She is an explosive attacker with good court sense. Brickey will be competing for NPJ Bend 18-1 National this club season.

Having spent the first two seasons playing in the middle, Vaughn has moved to the outside for her junior and senior seasons for the Sheldon High School Fighting Irish. She has done an exceptional job transitioning to this new position and has honed in on her back row play, making her a stellar six-rotation outside attacker. Vaughn will be playing for Webfoot Jrs 18-1 National this club season.

Roginski has been an integral part of the team for the Gresham High School Gophers since her freshman season. She is an offensive threat that shines on the right side, putting up a massive block and taking big swings. A leftie, it is a natural fit for her. During high school season, she plays six rotations and is a go-to attacker for the team. Roginski will be playing for a new club team this year, competing for Chaos 18-1 Elite.
