Emma Adams is a Portland, Oregon native, attending high school at St. Mary’s Academy and college at Portland State University. While she played volleyball competitively throughout high school and college, she found her passion in coaching. She previously coached at Tigard High School before moving to Central Catholic High School for the 2019 Emma Adams is a Portland, Oregon native, attending high school at St. Mary’s Academy and college at Portland State University. While she played volleyball competitively throughout high school and college, she found her passion in coaching. She previously coached at Tigard High School before moving to Central Catholic High School for the 2019 season to assist the junior varsity team. For the 2022 season, she led their JV team. Heading into the 2023 season she will be the varsity assistant coach. She coaches club for Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy in their 12U POD, head coaching their 12-2 team. She also runs a summer volleyball program, All Around Volleyball Academy, for grade school athletes.

Carsen Nies

Carsen Nies grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where she started playing indoor and sand volleyball in 6th grade. Carsen played for several competitive clubs and for school teams throughout Arizona and Portland, Oregon, where she moved to in high school. Carsen was the MVP of her 1A league her junior year and made the first team every other year. Carsen was the MVP of her 1A league her junior year and made the first team every other year. Although she stopped playing competitively in college, Carsen continues to play in leagues throughout the Portland area. She also picked up coaching, and coached the junior varsity and varsity high school teams at the Northwest School in Seattle for three years, as well as 12s, 13s, and 15s club teams in Seattle and Vancouver.
