Sylvia is fast and athletic. She jumped from 72nd to 67th in the rankings. Her ability to make smart choices on the move and execute well-placed sets really set her apart. She sets against the grain and pulls opposing blockers with her jump set. Sylvia runs a very fast offense for Kettle Moraine and has taken on a big role in their program.

I haven’t seen Marlock play since last season in the state tournament but I do remember that she was an absolute workhorse. She does everything, even playing middle and setting. And she made it look easy! Marlock is fast, smart and leads by action with no questions asked. She is a natural athlete and really seemed to connect with her attackers on the court.

Sylvia has taken her game to the next level in the past year. She has great footwork and a quick touch on the ball. Her placement is precise, and she keeps all of her hitters involved. She played up an age level for club, which helped her increase the speed of her offense. Sylvia already has over 600 assists this season alone and is developing into a great leader in this KM program.
