Five from OVR Bid Event
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137123" first="Michelle" last="Ezenekwe"]</strong> - 5’11 | MH | Mintonette<br />
A key element in the middle for her team, Ezenekwe has the potential to make a big impact on both sides of the ball. She has good athletic tools and brings good competitive experience, including helping her Oletangy Liberty team to a runner-up finish in the Ohio Division I state finals in 2021. She averaged 2.2 kills per set while hitting .368 on the season. She also was a big force defensively at 3.4 blocks per match. This team finished 13th in Columbus.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="156621" first="Ava" last="Kidd"]</strong> - 6’0 | MH | NKYVC<br />
Kidd had a terrific tournament in helping NKYVC finish 9th and one match from competing among the top teams in the later rounds. She is consistently effective in what she brings and found a lot of success offensively overhead of the setter off of one foot. She helped her Ryle team to a 28-9 overall record as she averaged two kills per set and 2.4 blocks per match.</p>
<p><strong>Lizzy McCluskey</strong> - 5’6 | DS | NKYVC<br />
McCluskey has some big-play moments in Columbus that including serving runs and defensive success that helped her team finish 9th overall. She has good balance and movement in the serve receive phase and continues to improve the quality of her reaction to the ball coming off the hitter’s arm on the defensive side. She has competed for a high-level high school program to complement her experience with this top club at NKYVC that helps her sustain a calm and composed demeanor on the court. </p>
<p><strong>Madelyn McMillan</strong> - 5’11 | OH | Elite VBTC <br />
McMillan adds good depth to a team loaded with athletic arms. She has good all-round skills as a pin with six-rotation abilities. Her versatility to swing on both pins is a bonus as well. She generates good power and can swing through the full range of the floor when on time and balance in her approach work. She led her high school team offensively with 2.7 kills per set in 2021.</p>
<p><strong>Macy McNamara</strong> - 5’8 | DS/L | ECJ<br />
A Robert Morris commit, McNamara contributes a lot for this team through her ball control and defense. She has good read and reaction ability that is quick and often efficient in her angle production to put the ball in a good location for her setter. At 5’8, she has good length for this role in the back row and can extend her range well when on balance. She helped her Independence team to an Ohio Division III state-runner up finish in 2021. </p>
