The Houston Power League returned for its third stop in 2022 this past weekend, with matches in each of the event's five divisions taking place in seven different venues in the Houston area.

We spent Sunday morning at the Houston Skyline club, which had six courts running non-stop with matches of the 15s division. We watched each of the 24 club teams that competed at the venue and are now coming back to provide our positional reports featuring the players that caught our attention.

After we published our positional articles during the week, now it's time to present our All-Tournament Team. Please keep in mind that the selection is limited to the players who were on the court at the Skyline on Sunday morning.

[player_tooltip player_id="179889" first="Kirra" last="Musgrove"] – Setter – HJV 15 Elite – HS: Clear Falls – 2025

This tournament had a lot of amazing setters that caught our eye, but it's hard to beat [player_tooltip player_id="179889" first="Kirra" last="Musgrove"]'s skillset. She's not only an excellent ballhandler but has also great size at 6'1” and helps her team HJV 15 Elite in a lot of different ways. A lefty, she becomes a fantastic hitter when at the net and is also capable of having long serving runs. Ranked ninth in our new 2025 Prep Dig State Rankings, Musgrove is the sort of player that leads by example and doesn't hold anything back on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="179890" first="Taylor" last="Porter"] – Right Sider – Houston Skyline 15 Royal – HS: Cypress Ranch - 2025

An emerging talent in the state of Texas, [player_tooltip player_id="179890" first="Taylor" last="Porter"] has also added ‘versatile' to her list of assets as a player this club season when she moved from pin hitter to the hitter with her Skyline 15 Royal team. The new position makes the most of her 5'11” frame and exceptional athleticism and still allows her team to have an extra passer on the court. Very intelligent on the court, Porter is highly-touted not only in Texas, where she occupies the eighth spot in our 2025 Prep Dig State Rankings, but also nationally after she was part of the USA Volleyball's National Team Development Program (NTDP) National Indoor Winter Training Series at the end of 2021.

Kennedi Rogers – Outside Hitter – HJV 15 Elite - HS: Ridge Point – 2025

Sometimes it feels like Kennedi Rogers gets overlooked in an HJV 15 Elite team that has so much star power, but her talent continues to impress every time we see her on the court. The 5'10” Rogers is the glue that keeps the team together with her ability to do a lot of different things at a very high level on the court. She's an excellent passer and defender, something extremely valuable for a team with numerous tall players, and also holds her own at the net with her amazing athleticism. And don't forget her topspin jump serve, which is only getting better.

[player_tooltip player_id="179917" first="Ella" last="Lewis"] – Outside Hitter – Houston Skyline 15 Royal – HS: The Woodlands – 2025

[player_tooltip player_id="179917" first="Ella" last="Lewis"]' game is somewhat similar to Rogers' in the fact that both are players who have key roles with their teams in several different areas of the game. The 5'10” outside hitter is a stat sheet filler in the best possible meaning of the expression as she produces in high volume in a variety of different skills. Lewis is very solid on the backcourt and a good server, but also a hitter that combines technique, power and incredible resourcefulness to score points at the net.

Jordan Taylor – Middle Blocker – HJV 15 Elite – HS: Langham Creek – 2025

Jordan Taylor is already one of the most impressive middle blockers in the entire state. Not many players of her age stand and 6'5” and certainly even fewer are capable of performing at the level she does for HJV 15 Elite. Taylor can hit a lot of different sets on offense and thrives on the slide, but she can still add a lot of power to her game. Her blocking is also elite, with a great combination of length and excellent hands placement. She's improved a lot during the last six months and the scariest part of it is that she's clearly not even close to her ceiling yet.

[player_tooltip player_id="179893" first="Bayleigh" last="Minor"] – Houston Skyline 15 Royal – HS: Fort Bend Christian – 2025

Another athletic freak from the Houston area, [player_tooltip player_id="179893" first="Bayleigh" last="Minor"] is another example of how the combination of track and field and volleyball typically works well. A gold medalist at the AAU Junior Olympics, Minor manages to transfer the physical tools the sport has provided her to the volleyball court. She stands at six feet but feels even taller on the court because of her long arms and excellent leaping ability. A combination of quick feet and heavy arm make her very hard to stop on offense too. Minor ranks 11th in our 2025 Prep Dig State Rankings.

Rylie Creenshaw – TAV Houston 15 Adidas – HS: Brazos Valley – 2024

A libero that combines speed and technique on the backcourt, Rylie Creenshaw was extremely solid for her TAV Houston 15 Adidas team in the tournament. She controlled the team's backcourt and thrived for her excellent positioning on defense. Also a great server, the 5'5” Creenshaw looks very comfortable and confident while on the court.
