2024 State Ranking New Additions Vol 2

<p>We have been watching the 2024 class very closely throughout the entire high school season and used the data of wins and losses, stats, district finishes, awards, in person tournaments, matches and of course the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects.  The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to our prestigious State Rankings through their play on the court.  Please welcome them with open arms. </p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="177292" first="Emma" last="Gatewood"] [2024] 5-10 Right Side/Middle/Outside (HS: Edmond North/Club: Oklahoma Peak Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Emma to the Prep Dig Family.  We are proud to announce that she is currently ranked as the 30^thbest overall player in the 2024 class.  Miss Gatewood plays volleyball at Edmond North and also club for Oklahoma Peak Performance.  She caught my eye when I watched her amazing club team dominate during a club tourney. What I like about her is she is able to hit from a variety of locations and tempos.  This kind of versatility is one reason why we chose her for our State Rankings.  It doesn’t matter if the ball is in system or not, Emma can rise up and contact the ball aggressively from anywhere.  She has really stepped up for OP2 and been able to play as an outside hitter when a teammate went down.  This team has not skipped a beat with her there.  We will be watching her closely as she has not reached her potential yet. She is worthy of being named one of the best volleyball players in the State of Oklahoma.  Please congratulate her on the honor. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="177236" first="Ella" last="Christensen"] [2024] 5-10 Middle (HS: Bishop McGuinness/Club: Charge/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>We are proud to announce that Ella is currently ranked as the 32^ndbest overall prospect according to our class of 2024 Prep Dig State Rankings.  She plays for Bishop McGuinness High School and also plays club for the fantastic Oklahoma Charge club program. She has great size and power for a sophomore.  What I like about her the most is her versatility on the court.  She is able to run both quicker tempo sets and also higher tempo sets.  She has great court vision to see the holes in the defense when she is in mid-air. Her team benefits from it by getting adequate scoring from those tips and off-speed shots.  Her blocking is where she truly excels, as she is able to get set up in front of the hitter very well.  I like her timing, as she is able to jump after the hitter jumps so that she is able to press when the attacker is making contact.  Please congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the State of Oklahoma.   </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="177223" first="Audrey" last="Wright"] [2024] 5-6 Libero (HS: Jenks/Club: UPVBC/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <p>Please welcome Audrey to the Prep Dig Family.  She is currently ranked as the 33^rdbest overall prospect according to the 2024 Prep Dig State Rankings list.  She plays at Jenks high school and also club for Ultimate Performance Volleyball Club.
