Recruiting Commitment Updates Vol 39

Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right play at the next level. Rosters all over the country have Texas players listed. It has been a while and it is time to rev up the engine and get this article series back on track. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have just made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.   Grey Foster [2022] 5-10 Setter/Defensive Specialist (HS: Westlake/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Long Beach State University) Grey is currently an unranked prospect according to our Prep Dig rankings, but we have had our eye on her for the past couple of years. She is a talented setter from the central Texas area. She plays for Westlake High School and also for the fantastic Austin Skyline club program. This young lady is a true baller because she truly can do it all on the court and do it well. She can switch from keeping her team in system as a defensive specialist in the back row to dishing dimes to her awesome hitters. She is the type of player that does what is needed for her team to win and any school would be lucky to have players like that. We are proud to announce that she committed to playing college volleyball at Long Beach State University. We are very proud of her and we are extremely happy that she has realized her dream of playing at the next level. Please help us congratulate her on the achievement.   [player_tooltip player_id="122889" first="Emory" last="Hinckley"] [2023] 6-2 Setter (HS: Paschal/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: University of Dayton) Emory is currently ranked as the 49th best overall player in the 2023 class according to our State Rankings. She is a lengthy setter from the Dallas area who stars in high school at Paschal High School and club for the awesome Dallas Skyline volleyball program. I have followed Em for a while now and she is a great setter who gives so much to her teams. While most will see her height and marvel, I see her technical skill-set. She has such great control over her posture and hand contact. The ball comes out of her hands very quickly and softly. There is not a set that she cannot replicate with pinpoint accuracy. Every single statistical category has improved each year that she touches the ball for Paschal. This kind of growth shows that she is nowhere near her potential. I saw it the first time that I watched her play and think her best is yet to come. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at the University of Dayton. Please help us congratulate Miss Hinckley on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball. We are glad that we still get to cover her for the next two years.   Hannah Berg [2022] 5-6 Libero (HS: Clear Creek/Club : Houston Stellar/Verbal: Blinn) Hannah is currently an unranked prospect according to our Prep Dig rankings. She plays for Clear Creek High School and also for the Houston Stellar volleyball club. Miss Berg is a great defensive player from the Houston area who has great ball control. She had 554 digs, 942 service receptions and 48 aces over the course of her two years on varsity. She has excellent balance with her base, which allows her to be very consistent with her serve receive passes. What I truly love is her body control to dig toward either side of her. She lunges out so quickly and fluidly to dig balls outside of her midline. We are proud to announce that she chose her college. She has committed to playing volleyball at Blinn College for next season. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of player at the next level.
