The 2022 Prep Dig Michigan Volleyball Draft gets started with the first round and will continue to run throughout the week.

Here’s the first 10 selections of this year’s draft.
1. Bears – Harper Murray Harper Murray 6'2" | OH Skyline | 2023 State #2 Nation MI , OH Skyline/Legacy (2023): The Bears make Murray the No. 1 overall selection once again. The standout outside has already established herself as one of the best in the nation and has improved greatly each year.
2. Broncos – Ava Sarafa Ava Sarafa 6'0" | S Marian | 2023 State #14 Nation MI , S Marian/Michigan Elite (2023): The Broncos elect to build with a setter first and take the ultra-athletic Sarafa. She’s got all the tools to be the best at the position, and has tested her skills against the best around the country.
3. Tigers – Nina Horning Nina Horning 6'5" | OH Lake Orion | 2023 State #50 Nation MI , OH Lake Orion/Legacy (2023): The 6’4” Horning brings elite size and length to the net, but her footwork and athleticism make her a standout six-rotation option. You don’t get that combo in many players.
4. Wildcats – Sarah Vellucci Sarah Vellucci 6'0" | OH Novi | 2023 State #97 Nation MI , OH/DS Novi/Legacy (2023): The Wildcats take arguably the best defender off the board, but she’s also a standout hitter that will give their roster flexibility right away. Vellucci has proven to succeed no matter where she is on the floor.
5. Warriors – Campbell Flynn Campbell Flynn 6'2" | S Mercy | 2025 State #4 Nation MI , S/OH Mercy/Legacy (2025): The first non-2023 prospect to be selected is Flynn, another elite setter from the Mercy program. Flynn can set and hit at an elite level, and her athleticism leaves her with a very high ceiling.
6. Lions – Ella Schomer Ella Schomer 6'0" | RS Marian | 2023 State #142 Nation MI , OH Marian/Michigan Elite (2023): The Lions will address the outside first and go with the ultra-competitive Schomer. She’s an explosive player that has a fire that may not be matched by anyone else in this field.
7. Falcons – Abigail Reck Abigail Reck 6'2" | MB Northville | 2023 State #74 Nation MI , MB Northville/Legacy (2023): The top middle on the board gets taken here. Reck has shown the ability to shift to the outside as well, which gives the Falcons options going forward. Reck is always able to deliver with great power, and she’s a top-level blocker defensively.
8. Bulldogs – Zoey Dood Zoey Dood 6'2" | S Grandville | 2024 State #131 Nation MI , S Grandville/MVA (2024): The top 2024 prospect goes eighth to the Bulldogs. Dood is another long setter that has great instincts when to make the play herself. She reads the court very well and also has all the defensive skills to be a complete player.
9. Cougars – Erin Kline Erin Kline 6'2" | S Mercy | 2023 State #123 Nation MI , S Mercy/Legacy (2023): A setter-heavy first round continues with Kline going ninth to the Cougars. Kline fits the bill for a great first pick as she runs a very smooth offense and is able to make good hitters great. Another long setter, Kline can be a force offensively and defensively at the net.
10. Eagles – Laurece Abraham Laurece Abraham 6'1" | MB Country Day | 2023 State #111 Nation MI , MB Country Day/Legacy (2023): With the first of back-to-back picks, the Eagles close out the first by taking Abraham. A dominant finisher offensively, Abraham can play as high at the net as anyone. Her smooth skillset and explosiveness make her a great foundation piece.
