Pattie has been leading her Maverick team all club season with great leadership and precision in her distribution. At 5’7, she may be undersized by some standards to set six rotations but she has the hands and court sense to run an offense that involves a variety of hitters through various tempos. She has good quickness and footwork and can locate well in all directions.

The competitive experience that Eglitis has gained with her Elite squad has helped her grow her impact overall as a setter for a good club team. With her club team, she is surrounded by some of the best athletes and arms that can get up and terminate what she has to offer, including our top-ranked prospect in the class of 2024. She has shown good consistency in her ability to deliver the ball with good tempo and location that allows her hitters to do their thing.

Auer has a simple quality in her hand position and contact as she gets them high and understands the force of movement needed to get the ball where it needs to go with good touch, tempo, and location. In contrast to her simple hands she competes and leads her team with a lot of energy. She can also be an offensive threat as well as she can swing if needed and can also place the ball well through a second-contact setter dump option at the net.

As a sophomore, Evans was second overall in total assists in the Greater Miami Conference, helping guide the Comets to a league championship. It has been fun to watch her compete this club season as she has had a lot of opportunity to showcase the depth of her skill set. As she is not the primary setter for her club team she makes some of this team’s best contributions with her defense and in her opportunities to swing. Look for her total impact to be significant again for Mason when she returns to setting as her primary role.
