<p>Region 7 will feature several experienced sophomores in the 2022 high school volleyball season.</p>
<p>A look at five 2025 Region 7 players to watch follows. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159345" first="Caroline" last="Bates"]</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter/middle blocker from Christian Academy-Louisville. Bates elevates well at the net and works well with the middle blocker on blocks. A reliable hitter, Bates can hit from both the front row and the back row. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159350" first="Elise" last="Hart"]</strong> is a sophomore middle blocker from Sacred Heart Academy. Hart executes quick attacks regularly and provides a strong presence along the middle of the net. A player with a solid skill set, Hart reads the setter accurately and produces at a high level. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159406" first="Ava" last="Hollis"]</strong> is a sophomore middle hitter/outside hitter from Seneca High School. Hollis is agile and moves well from side to side. A player who can deliver as a go-to hitter and a primary passer, Hollis adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks routinely. </p>
<p><strong>Alanis Pagan Melendez</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist from Seneca High School. Melendez possesses solid defensive skills and passing skills. Quick, Melendez covers the court thoroughly while digging and pursuing consistently. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159351" first="Anna" last="Powell"]</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter from Sacred Heart Academy. Powell adjusts well to sets coming from any location. Athletic, Powell possesses strong jumping ability and can deliver as a passer. </p>
