About Amy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is high-energy and intensely focused. I bring a lot of passion to the court, staying locked in from the first serve to the last point. I’m constantly communicating, hyping up my teammates, and making sure I stay mentally sharp throughout the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong, determined mentality when I play. I stay focused and never give up, no matter the score. Off the court, my personality is fun and upbeat, and I love bringing positive energy to my team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a volleyball player, I’ve developed several key skills and qualities, especially in the areas of teamwork, communication, leadership, and discipline. Volleyball is a sport that relies heavily on trust and coordination among teammates, so I’ve learned how to work effectively in a team environment, support others, and stay focused on a common goal.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Growing up in a small town with limited coaching and lower-level competition was a challenge, especially as I was constantly moved to different positions throughout my volleyball career. It was difficult not having consistent guidance or a set role, but it taught me to adapt quickly, become versatile. That experience made me a stronger, more resilient player and teammate.

Lee played a big role in Casey County’s 12-win improvement in Lindsey Burkhead’s first season as head coach. Lee can put the ball down a number of ways and serve up big points. Lee made good first touches a number of times last season. Lee had 100 kills and 100 digs to help the Rebels go 18-16 and make it to the 12th Region Tournament for the first time since 2016 this past season.
