About Lucy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with very high energy all of the time. I am constantly talking on the court and try to be an encouraging leader on and off the court. I am a pretty serious player and want to win. I am always giving 100% effort and expect the same from my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Extremely hard working, selfless, mentally tough, humble, kind, competitive.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Student Council, BETA, FCA, NHS

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, resiliency, work ethic, teamwork, responsibility, self discipline, integrity, authenticity

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 10. I had to learn how to manage a very difficult disease that I will most likely have for the rest of my life. My top priority was figuring out how to deal with it in a way that allows me to live the same life that I did before diagnosis.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to any type of college, I’m just looking for the best fit for me academically and athletically.
