One of the toughest Division I conferences in the state, the GGCL will again feature some of the best distributors in Ohio. Here are five to keep an eye on as the season gets started and that will certainly impact offensive success rate as setters and/or attackers in this high powered league.

[player_tooltip player_id='141725' first='Lindsey' last='Green'] - Ursuline
The league's leader in total assists last season with 999, Ursuline returns the bulk of their offense, which includes good balance through both pins and in the middle. Green, a Ball State commit, is very capable of getting the ball where it needs to go in any situation and will benefit greatly from her teammates that will provide great ball control and defense to get them in system often. This team is a favorite to with the league as the season gets started.

[player_tooltip player_id='114574' first='Maria' last='Drapp'] - Mercy McCauley
Mercy relied a lot upon a young corps of athletes last season, all of which have improved the quality of their play over the recent club season. Drapp was a critical element in providing stability and leadership from the setting role to help get her attackers into good situations to take big swings. The Wolves should improve their overall success rate throughout the season and have the tools to compete well. Drapp recently committed to Bradley University.

[player_tooltip player_id='141710' first='Luca' last='Fickell'] - St. Ursula (*pictured)
Fickell has improved her floor presence and contact on the ball in this position as she had a solid club season in helping Tri-State 17's sustain good offensive production. She has good size, which will benefit her as an offensive threat and in putting up a big block. This team has good balance around the floor on both sides of the ball and should be in the mix to contend for a league title. Fickell is committed to Indiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='141722' first='Audrey' last='Armbruster'] - Mount Notre Dame
Armbruster helped guide the Cougars to an 18-6 overall record last season while averaging 9.79 assists per set. Gone are some significant offensive threats, which may see Armbruster become more of an offensive factor given her ability to terminate at the net. MND has another very capable setter in [player_tooltip player_id='197530' first='Macey' last='Rocco'], which bodes well for a 6-2 offense to free up Armbruster as an attacker for three rotations.

Lydia Rogers - Seton
At 557 total assists, Rogers was the top assist producer for Seton last season but has versatility in her skills to contribute in other facets of the game. Listed as an outside hitter on the current Seton roster, her focus may shift primarily to supporting their point production at the pins following the graduation of some key arms. Seton has other athletes that can fill the setting role so we can expect we'll see the ball travel through the hands of junior [player_tooltip player_id='114576' first='Taylor' last='Grubbs'] or sophomore Reagan Miller more frequently, both of which totaled 169 and 276 totals assists last season respectively.
