New Faces in 2023

<p>Every ranking update we get the opportunity to add more players after extensive research following the season. For the class of 2023, we added quite a few athletes after seeing them pop up while watching some film. Here are some of the athletes who we added this round.</p>   <h2>55. [player_tooltip player_id='214643' first='Brooklyn' last='Farris'] - OH - Blue Valley/Invasion</h2>   <p>Invasion had a strong spring that took them all the way to nationals. They had a few players enter the rankings on both sides of the state line this go around. Farris was a consistent player on this roster from the pin. </p>   <h2>56. [player_tooltip player_id='171300' first='Jadyn' last='Padilla'] - DS/L - Gardner Edgerton/Pohaku</h2>   <p>Padilla showed she is a steady defender in the state with the Pohaku Volleyball Club. We saw them in action a few times and she was solid in serve receive and defensively. </p>   <h2>58. [player_tooltip player_id='214636' first='Ryleigh' last='Sander'] - S - Garnder Edgerton/Mavs KC</h2>   <p>As we watch two and three teams, Sander stood out as one of the better setters in that tier. Her game is solid and she helped lead her team to nationals in 2022 with her high volleyball IQ. </p>   <h2>64. [player_tooltip player_id='214642' first='Emily' last='Loy'] - MB - Shawnee Heights/Topeka Impact</h2>   <p>Loy is another glue player for Topeka Impact. Her play is very important to the team's success with all the attention that gets placed on the pins. She can score in front and behind the setter and is good in the blocking department. </p>   <h2>76. [player_tooltip player_id='214649' first='Aubree' last='Hoffman'] - MB - Manahttan/Pohaku</h2>   <p>Hoffman has good size in the middle and she had a strong spring for the Kansas City-based Pohaku club. She does a great job of finding the whole in the block to score points. </p>   <h2>96. [player_tooltip player_id='214644' first='Gabriella' last='Ricci'] - OH - St. Thomas Aquinas/Invasion</h2>   <p>Ricci was another of those players on the Invasion roster who can score from the pin. What she lacks with size she picks up with smartness with her shot selection. </p>
