She is averaging 6.4 assists per set following back-to-back seasons averaging double-figure assists for this team. She takes on more of an offensive role this year and is finding success as she is second on the team with a 2.8 kills per set average and is terminating 81% of her attacking opportunities. She has 44 kills on 54 total swings with only seven total errors for an efficiency of .685. She is athletic on the right pin at 5'8 and with good elevation she can generate pace with her arm in the air.</p>

The 6'0 senior middle is averaging 5.0 kills per set while hitting at a very efficient .592 clip. In 2021, she averaged 4.5 kills on the season while hitting .530 for the season as she uses her athleticism well to score points in bunches. Since the start of the 2021 season she has had only one match in which she did not reach the double-digit kills mark. She twice amassed 25 kills last season and has a season high of 20 this year in their most recent 3-1 win over Austintown-Fitch, helping the Bulldogs to get off to a 4-0 start.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='169500' first='Sasha' last='Busey']</strong> - 2023 | Van Buren<br>Busey has increased her offensive production so far this season as she is averaging 5.5 kills per set compared to the 3.4 kills she achieved in 2021. Terminating 61% of her opportunities she is currently hitting at a .545 efficiency. The 5'10 senior middle has good physicality in the air as she opens her shoulders well to the ball to create torque that leads to some impressive power. She can get the ball on the defense in a hurry with her arm speed. Van Buren is 2-1 to start the season as Busey has double-figure kills in each match thus far, including a career high 27 kills in a tough season opening 3-2 loss to Carey.</p>

<p><strong>Kendall Brunn</strong> - 2024 | Memorial<br>Brunn is this team's primary offensive threat as the junior has a significantly higher amount of attempts compared to her teammates. She is effective though as she is hitting .500 on the season over their first four matches with only eight errors on 106 swings. She has good athleticism to get up with a high elbow to get on top of the ball. She had a season high 22 kills in their 3-0 win over Lordstown last week for her third double-figure output this season. </p>
