Daniel was an offensive juggernaut in the Eagles’ recent 3-0 win over Edison. Hitting at a .463 efficiency she totaled 22 kills for a 7.3 kills per set average Saturday. The senior outside hitter is averaging 5.3 kills per set for the season as she recently surpassed the 800 kills mark for her career. Against Edison she also collected 18 digs for the double-double. Monroeville improved to 5-2 overall.

Jackson picked up three wins on Saturday as they defeated Strongsville (2-0), Archbishop Hoban (2-1), and Hudson (2-0) to improve to 12-1 on the season. Wake, a senior outside hitter, totaled 44 kills for a 6.3 kills per set average. She also added seven service aces. She is a savvy hitter that moves the ball around well with her arm, which is leading to a lot of individual success for her as she is terminating 56% of her attacking opportunities at a .506 efficiency this season
Maddie Smetana – Berkshire
The Berkshire Badgers claimed a 3-2 win over Garfield as Smetana led their offense with a season high 18 kills in the match while hitting at a .271 efficiency. She also contributed a team high four blocks while adding 13 digs for the double-double. Smetana, a junior, has averaged 3.6 kills per set over the two most recent seasons while hitting .316. The junior lefty has good length in her contact point and finds success through a variety of attack points in their offense. Berkshire improved to 6-1 overall.

The senior outside hitter led the Colts (7-2) to a solid 3-0 win over Dublin Scioto as she hit for her season average with 12 kills and at a 4.0 kills per set output. She recently surpassed the 1,000 career kills mark as she has been a force for Meadowbrook with her arm throughout her career. She has career averages of 3.8 kills per set, .256 hitting efficiency, and 11 digs per match.
CeCe Worsham – Temple Christian
The 5’9 senior provided a big effort for the Pioneers as she amassed 25 kills in a tough 3-2 loss to Continental. She had a big stat line as she also contributed team highs with 28 digs and four service aces. The 2021 NWCC Player of the Year is having another terrific season as she is averaging a career highs with 4.5 kills per set and 11.2 digs per match this season while quickly approaching the 800 career kills mark.
