2025 Player Rankings: Top Outside Hitters Part 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This week, the first edition of the <strong><a href="https://prepdig.com/ohio/rankings/2025-rankings/">2025 Player Rankings</a> </strong>were released.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The group includes a total of 30 players from around the state.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Not surprisingly, outside hitter has the majority of the 30 slots.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We looked at the top 10 earlier, now we look at the remainder of the high-ranking outside prospects.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>11. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156326' first='Mallory' last='Reck'], Northville/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Reck is part of the Reck-ing crew at Northville. She shows a lot of promise in the years to come, as she has a really smooth swing. Her footwork and court IQ is that of a veteran player as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>12. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156319' first='Addison' last='Newblatt'], Clarkston/Michigan Elite</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Newblatt hasn't been able to build off a strong freshman year as of yet due to injuries, but she definitely can be a difference maker. She's impactful at the net, in the back row and from the service line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>13. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156289' first='Jillian' last='Collins'], Mercy/Legacy</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Collins is starting to build up some consistency for Mercy. She's finishing her attacks at a high rate, while also making key plays defensively. With continued good coaching, Collins should find another gear.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>14. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156303' first='Alissa' last='Hulst'], Holland Christian/MVA</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hulst is a 6-footer with a long reach. She's definitely got a high ceiling. The key will be for her to tap into her explosiveness and let the game come to her. She's succeeding as is, but can really take the next step when she gains more experience and confidence on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>15. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='224601' first='Grace' last='Allen'], Mona Shores/MVA</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Allen is able to play the middle or the outside. She's got a nice vertical and reach to go with a high-effort game. She's sharpening her technique each month and adding more swings to her attack.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>16. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156308' first='Makaylah' last='Jackson'], Grand Haven/FaR Out</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jackson has been a reliable arm, able to take on a fair amount of swings without showing much fatigue or a loss in velocity. She's working hard to become an all-around player.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>17. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='156333' first='Jillian' last='Swierbut'], Grand Haven/MVA</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Swierbut looks like she could be a solid six-rotation player in the future. She's very quick on her feet and has the poise to make tough plays in all areas of the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>18. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='191749' first='Abigail' last='Wutka'], Dakota/Michigan Elite</strong> </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wutka moves very well around the floor and is settling into the outside position. She's got some nice pop on her attacks and showing improvement at reading defenses while mixing up shot speeds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
