Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I'm a six rotation OH/DS for my club team.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I'm a kid at heart and enjoy doing fun kid type activities. But I'm also very particular about having a routine keeping my things in order. I love spending time with my friends and doing fun things like playing board games, spending time at the beach, and making really good baked goods. I also love watching sports, especially football and volleyball.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I've been a member of 4-H for over 12 years. I show my animals in livestock shows and at my county fair every summer. I've won Reserve Grand Champion twice for Showmanship, Pack and Obstacle, and also for my market project. I've also won the 4-H Teen Leader Award and the Excellence Award two years in a row for all my leadership skills in 4-H.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I've learned a lot as a 4-H member and as a coach for volleyball. I've learned a lot of leadership skills from helping coach the younger youth in my community in both indoor and beach volleyball. I do a lot of community service through 4-H and I help teach the younger youth about showing livestock and proper care and nutrition of their animals.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I've faced a lot of challenges in life. I was born with a cleft lip and palate and have had over 12 surgeries. It's caused a major fear of needles, some issues with food after having to be on special diets, speech therapy, and some hearing loss in my left ear. I've also had to deal with bullying in school, which is why I transferred schools after my freshman year.
What type of college are you looking for?
I want a college that has a good pre-veterinary program, has a supportive student section for their athletes, and a volleyball team and coaching staff with strong relationships and support for their student athletes.
