The two-time 4A state champ and current Indiana Miss Volleyball has been the foundation for the Chargers’ resurgence in the past few years. Bailey is on her way to IU-Indianapolis, where the Horizon League is about to receive what we’ve all known here about Miss Sinish; relentless work ethic, exceptionally trained skills and a knack for winning.

We’ve got a new #1 in the class, and she’s from two-time defending 4A champ Carroll. Her ability to make pass-to-attack look easy and do it all without the “look at me” attitude so many other players carry with them on social media is refreshing. Not only did she finish this season as the leader of an undefeated state champ, but also turned her accolades into two postseason honors—-the IHSVCA Indiana Miss Volleyball award and the MaxPreps Indiana Player Of The Year. She’s done everything possible on a volleyball court—-and is keeping her skill set in Indiana by signing with IU Indianapolis.

As if we needed a reminder from the physical leader of the Chargers, Bailey is still First-Team All-State material and more for Carroll’s run to a repeat title. In the semifinal against Westfield, she finished with 28 kills while hitting .362 with 11 digs and 29 service receptions without error. In the final, she added another 24 kills, hitting .426 with another 11 digs against Crown Point. Is there any one person doing more for their squad in more areas than the IU Indy commit?

Two years ago, Bailey was a high-flying outside hitter whose mom was a coach. Now Bailey is teaching us all a thing or two about how the game should be played and what it looks like to persevere, work hard, and truly EARN it. 4A State Champ and First-Team All-State honoree Bailey has earned her commitment to up-and-coming program IU Indy, who made the Horizon Conference tournament for the first time since I can remember, and will only get better with Bailey’s arrival in the fall of ’26. A quiet attacker, Bailey’s game speaks for itself, and the Jaguars stay in-state with this outstanding athlete.

Bailey is a high-flying, first-team All-State 4A champion that is more than capable of being a six-rotation, full-time outside hitter. Her athleticism is off the charts, and her ability to take over a match is what led her Chargers to a state title in the 4A tournament last fall. Playing for Summit, she’s at a club that is medium-to-small-sized, and is more than happy to play open level ball with them. One things that stands out about Bailey that’s important to note—she’s a no-nonsense player without the flash and look-at-me attitude that a lot of volleyball players carry with them these days. With work ethic through the roof, a winning personality and character and athleticism to burn, Bailey is a no-doubt recruit for the next level.

By far the most athletic player on today’s list, Bailey is a jump-out-of-the-gym terminator on the left pin that can play all the way around and score points from anywhere on the court. A state champ in 4A from this past fall, Bailey’s athleticism gets her out of trouble more often than not, which is really hard to say for any other outside on this list. With quiet confidence, Bailey is more than capable of taking over a match and, without all of the attention, dominate opposing blockers. I’m looking forward to how she plays against bigger and better competition in this 17 Open draw this weekend, as she’ll be tested against some of the best in the midwest.

Another available kid from Carroll’s 4A title team, Bailey is a six-rotation, primary-passing outside that can jump out of the gym and attack with pace. She doesn’t like the spotlight, but it manages to find her with all of that athleticism and exceptional play. She’s made more than a few teams look silly in defending her, as she has every shot in the book a D1 outside needs to have. One of the more complete outsides in this class, Bailey is a coach’s kid who understands work ethic, winning and volleyball acuity.
