Recruiting Commitment Updates Vol 57

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It doesn't matter what level you play at when you think about the fact that NCAA research shows that only four percent of high school volleyball players play in college.&nbsp; Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level.&nbsp; The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming.&nbsp; We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams.&nbsp; We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front.&nbsp; There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news.&nbsp; These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season.&nbsp; They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions.&nbsp; Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Lydia Seymour [2023] 6-3 Middle (HS: Justin Northwest/Club: Tejas/Verbal: Texas Christian University)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lydia is currently an unranked prospect in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on my watch list to make it once I update the list.&nbsp; She is a superb middle from Northwest High School and also plays club at Tejas.&nbsp; Miss Seymour has the size and power to dominate at the net.&nbsp; She excels in blocking at the net and most teams have to scheme around the wall that she puts up.&nbsp; She does a great job at attacking the floor with her footwork so that she creates a lot of momentum in her approach.&nbsp; I love how she drives those powerful legs into the ground.&nbsp; The power in her right arm is shown as she comes in for quick attacks from her setter.&nbsp; We are proud to announce that she has decided to play college volleyball at Texas Christian University. &nbsp;They got themselves a game changer Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='141122' first='Savannah' last='Ivie']&nbsp;[2023] 5-8 Libero (HS: Wakeland/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']/Verbal: Providence College)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Savannah is currently ranked as the 117^th best overall prospect and 12^th best libero in the 2023 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She is a solid all around player from Wakeland High School and also plays club for [program_tooltip program_id='431200' first='Madfrog' last='']. &nbsp;Miss Ivie is gifted as a back row general. &nbsp;She is the queen of emergency digs as I have seen her use every piece of her body to keep balls alive for her team.&nbsp; Any team she plays on will have a fighting chance as long as she is on the court.&nbsp; Very few balls fall near her zone.&nbsp; She is not afraid to throw her body on the floor in order to save a ball.&nbsp; She is a true ball control expert in serve receive also.&nbsp; We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Providence College. &nbsp;Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='87554' first='Ella' last='Chaney']&nbsp;[2023] 6-2 Middle (HS: Prosper/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: University of Louisiana at Lafayette)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ella is currently ranked as the 42^nd&nbsp;best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; &nbsp;She plays at Prosper High School and club for the amazing Dallas Skyline program. &nbsp;We just recently wrote an article on her high school squad and here is a little of what we stated, “<em>The lady Eagles have a good defensive stopper at the net in Ella for the times when they go up against another solid offense.&nbsp; She has proven to be super effective on both the offensive and defensive end over the last few years.&nbsp; Her consistency at the net will be key for this hungry team.&nbsp; Her size and power will be additional weapons to use when they are needed.”&nbsp;</em>She chose where she will spend her next four years recently.&nbsp; We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are just now getting caught up with all of the commitments that have happened this past year.&nbsp;
