Marquette lost a ton of talent from that team, and Lafayette returned the core of theirs. The match from the beginning of the month saw a 25-23, 25-14, 26-24 Lafayette sweep. Lafayette started the year 11-6 but is burning hot now with 15 straight wins. The Lancers have knocked off #1 Liberty, #2 Liberty North, and #3 Eureka in the last two weeks of the season. The Wildcats from Eureka started the year 28-1 but have gone 3-2 in the last five games.
