We kick this district off this evening with two teams scheduled to get going. The other two matches will take place tomorrow.

Teams (in order by seed): Jefferson City, Helias Catholic, Rolla, Camdenton, Marshfield, Bolivar, Capital City, West Plains

Jefferson City vs. West Plains

Key Players: JC; Hannah Linthacum, [player_tooltip player_id='150053' first='Ava' last='Reeser'], [player_tooltip player_id='150051' first='Hannah' last='Vogt']. West Plains; Madi Hughston

Top seed Jefferson City comes in with 17 wins including four straight. Linthacum leads the offense with over 2 kills per set. We say look for setter [player_tooltip player_id='150051' first='Hannah' last='Vogt'] to try to get her going early in a win over West Plains. The Zizzers will look for Hughston to keep them in the contest.

Camdenton vs. Marshfield

Key Players: Camdenton; [player_tooltip player_id='224419' first='Bella' last='Breuer'], [player_tooltip player_id='232324' first='Bella' last='Asante']. Marshfield; Grace Kimrey, [player_tooltip player_id='150038' first='Mollie' last='Thomas']

This will be the first time these two teams face off this fall with a trip to the next round on the line. Both teams come in on three-game win streaks. Camdenton will be led by the Bella combination of Breuer on the swing and Asante on the pass. For Marshfield, Grace Kimrey leads the team in kills and hitting percentage. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='150038' first='Mollie' last='Thomas'] is one of two capable of moving the ball around. We like the 5 seed in this one.

Helias Catholic vs. Capital City

Key Players: HC; [player_tooltip player_id='119221' first='Chapel' last='Dobbs'], Summer Hake, [player_tooltip player_id='124227' first='Izzy' last='Herrbold']. CC; Ava Meinhardt, Grace Marshall.

Helias Catholic has 26 wins on the year and is a 2 seed capable of exiting this district with a title. They swept Capital City earlier this year and we should anticipate the same in this Friday's match. Hake has over 100 blocks on the season. Capital City enters eclipsing 20 wins this fall. Meinhardt leads the team in kills, blocks, and hitting percentage.

Rolla vs. Bolivar

Key Players: Rolla; Emma Cook, Jessica Pritchett. Bolivar; [player_tooltip player_id='237846' first='Cora' last='Roweton'], Dailynn Vanderen.

24 win Rolla comes in as the 3 seed. They own a September sweep of Bolivar. Setter/RS Pritchett is able to do a little bit of everything for this team and will lead them to a first-round victory. For Bolivar, both Roweton and Vaderen are offensive threats averaging over 3 kills per set. If they catch fire they could push for the upset.
