Region 3

Atascocita

Atascocita is in a good position right now finishing second in their district. They could easily be bracket-busters in Region 3. They got a sweep over Summer Creek twice this season, but couldn't pull it out in district play to claim the first-place spot. Libero Macee Harman has been a big part of Atascocita's success. They also have two middles who are VERY good, Ruthie Swain and [player_tooltip player_id='519547' first='Rheanna' last='Deen-Jackson']. These two make huge plays at the net that sway momentum in their favor and momentum in the playoffs is a huge deal.

George Ranch

George Ranch makes the bracket-busting list for their young stud outside hitters. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='182109' first='Sydney' last='Bryant'] and freshman Madelynn Coy are having a huge offensive season for George Ranch. Senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='200644' first='Riley' last='Steubing'] is one of the best in Houston, and she is on fire in the defensive backcourt. If George Ranch can stay in system and get Sydney and Madelynn the ball, they could easily knock a higher-ranked team off early.

Clear Creek

We love Clear Creek's energy this year, and that's why they make the list. Clear Creek has been confident since day one, that they are in a playoff mindset. They are tough, and they work off momentum. They have sophomore Olivia Jones who leads the team in kills and 3rd overall in her district. They also know how to fight to the end and play tough 5 set matches. Clear Creek could easily be a bracket-buster in Region 3.

Region 4

Dripping Springs

Dripping Springs could be a dangerous post-season team to face in November. They are intense and coached very well. They have a solid mix of senior leadership and outstanding freshman. Senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='87537' first='Mackenzie' last='Plante'] has been playing lights out as of late, and freshman Henley Anderson is averaging over .300 on the season. If they can keep their composure, they can put away the best of them. They have some quality wins over some top 20 teams and do not back down easily.

Warren

Warren makes the list for their consistency. Down the stretch, who can keep a clear head and consistent serving and passing wins games. The Warren volleyball team has a lot of ball control, volleyball IQ, and relentless defense, that allows them to hang just fine with teams who have a taller front row. They have 5 hitters in double-digit kills, the leader being Grace Owens. They also have 4 players who have over 200 digs, libero Justine Flores leading the way.

S. A. Reagan

We have been eye-ing Reagan all year. They have all the pieces to be a really pivotal team in the post-season. They only struggled against district opponent, Clark, but have been solid across the board everywhere else. They have two quality wins over Brandeis, and a 5 set game with Antonian Prep. If Reagan goes on a hot streak, they could be really dangerous for Region 4. They have sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='212726' first='Mya' last='Allen'] on the outside and senior [player_tooltip player_id='99498' first='Katie' last='Hill'] in the middle, leading the offense for Reagan.
