Blazquez was with the Brandeis team that made the trip from San Antonio and returned home with four wins and four losses. A very technical player, she was very efficient with her playmaking, consistently moving her hitters around and not repeating plays. Blazquez also did well in out-of-system plays, as she displayed great quickness to get to the ball and accurately deliver it to her hitters at the pin. The setter was also a huge asset on the backcourt, serving intelligently and appearing when on defense, combining excellent positioning and superior ball control.
