Wright moves up to #47 overall after an excellent season with WVBA. The Lynden Christian MB is long, quick off her feet, and does an excellent job pressing over on the block. Wright does her work early as a blocker, reading the setter and hitters before closing with a decisive swing block. She is developing her game offensively and should continue to do so with her size and athletic profile.

The Apex 16 Summit MB keeps getting better each time we see her play this season. At near 6’2″, Wright has terrific leverage and high hand contact that help her terminate around the block. She has good vision, and will drop in soft tips to score when she is bottled up or dealing with tough set. Wright looks set to deliver a huge season for Lynden Christian this fall as a junior.

Wright has excellent length at 6’1″, and played big during the weekend run. She went up strong with two hands and jammed down overpasses and jousts, controlling the action at the net. Offensively, Wright showed a strong sweeping tip cross body, then mixed up her swings hitting a quick set with power to the angle to avoid the block. Her length proved too much for some attackers, she put up a good press and stuffed block several hitters.

The 6’2″ middle from Lynden Christian is part of a talented Apex NW Volleyball Club 16 Summit team. Apex comes in ranked in the top 2 pools, and will face off in pool play against DaKine 16 and Dakine 15 Surf, as well as SIVA 16-1 South Blue. Wright is a terrific blocker with great length and a developing offensive game. She is hammering down overpasses with confidence and her footwork running attacking routes is solid. A 2026 prospect, Wright has all the tools needed and the work ethic to be a force in the middle.
