<p>Conferences are all done, seeding is complete, and brackets are set. It is officially a "lose and you go home "scenario from here on out. Don’t forget to keep us in the loop! Prep Dig has been having a blast hearing from our followers on Twitter and Facebook and sharing your successes. Let’s take a quick look at what happened in our final regular season week of play (October 8<sup>th</sup> -October 14<sup>th</sup>) of the high school season. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32724" first="Kiana" last="Schmitt"] – </strong>2019 – 6’3 – Middle Blocker – Waunakee – Committed to Creighton</p>
<p>Schmitt has been operating at a high level lately, showing that middles can do more than just block. She has been averaging a .438 hitting percentage. Schmitt also leads Waunakee (40-6) with 295 kills, along with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56006" first="Milla" last="Malik"] </strong>(2020 – 5’10 – Outside Hitter).</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="80726" first="Sammie" last="Seib"] </strong>– 2021 – 5’8 - Outside Hitter – Catholic Central – Not Committed</p>
<p><strong>Elizabeth Klein </strong>– 2019 – 6’0 – Setter/Right Side – Catholic Central - Not Committed</p>
<p>Seib has taken the reigns as a sophomore and is a clear leader for the Hilltoppers (30-7) as she leads with 420 kills. She also leads with 75 aces and presents a threat from the front or the back row. Klein gets to feed Seib the ball and has 862 assists to prove it. She recently hit the 2,000 career assist mark! Catholic Central has the #2 seed in Sectional 4 of the Division Playoffs and will play Madison Country Day on Tuesday, October 16<sup>th</sup>.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="10237" first="Selena" last="Levendoski"]</strong> – 2019 – 5’9 – Middle Blocker – Clayton – Not Committed</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="33064" first="Marissa" last="Gilbertson"]</strong> – 2019 – 5’5 – Setter – Clayton – Not Committed</p>
<p>Clayton (21-2) is on a 6-match win streak after taking down Shell Lake and Prairie Farm this past week. Levendoski has been averaging 5 kills per set to help the Bears take 1<sup>st</sup> in the Lakeland – Central Conference. She also leads her team with 302 kills and 28 blocks this season so far. Gilbertson runs a solid, balanced attack while averaging almost 10 assists per set.</p>
<p><strong>Tehya Bertrand – </strong>2019 – 5’7 - Setter – Southern Door – Not Committed</p>
<p>Southern Door (33-8) was on a 13-match win streak before dropping a 5-set match to Gibraltar this past week. Bertrand has been a driving force to Southern Door’s success. She leads her team with 94 aces and 896 assists.</p>
<p><strong>Michelle Kallestad</strong> – 2020 – Middle Blocker – Faith Christian – Not Committed</p>
<p>While Faith Christian (12-7) hasn’t had any new action this week, it is a good time to look at another strong server from their squad. Kallestad averages over an ace per set and is pulling her weight on this small squad. She also leads the Eagles with 18 blocks.</p>
<p><strong>Carolyn Stockhausen </strong>– 2020 – 5’11 – Middle Blocker/Right Side – Kewaskum – Not Committed</p>
<p>Stockhausen is a blocking machine with 127 blocks. She recorded a career high 12 blocks twice this past week. Stockhausen helped the Indians (22-14) to finish in the middle of the pack in a tough East Central Conference.</p>
<p><strong>Alexis Nagy</strong> – 2019 – 5’9 – Middle Blocker – Delavan-Darien – Not Committed</p>
<p>Nagy is averaging almost 2 blocks a set right now, and it’s a good time to be hot going into playoffs! She leads the Comets (7-23) with 66 blocks in a struggling season. Delavan-Darien will take on a tough Luther Prep team in the first round of playoffs.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="56046" first="Ainsley" last="Apel"] </strong><em>– </em>2020<em> - </em>Libero – Sauk Prairie – Not Committed</p>
<p>Apel hit the 1,000 career dig milestone this past August and hasn’t been slowing down. She also claimed the Cougar-Viking Tournament MVP. Apel leads the Eagles with 461 digs so far this season.</p>
<p><strong>Ally Goba </strong>– 2019 – 5’2 - Libero – Luther Prep – Not Committed</p>
<p>Luther Prep (23-9) has been having a great season! They are currently on a 7-match win streak, and Goba has been running the defense in their efforts to make a run into the post-season. She also hit the 2,000 career dig mark while leading her team with 499 digs so far this season.</p>
