Arnold plays excellent defense and showed another side to her game when she led RVC in a 5-1 at Emerald City. The Ridgeline prospect accurately set the slide, reversed the flow confidently, and kept defenses honest with her attacking. Ridgeline has a large group of players back this season, and Arnold will be working to lead the program to its first state tournament trip.

RVC 17 Kari worked hard at the tournament, going with an 8 player roster for the weekend. Arnold had a massive amount of touches and was determined in running down the second ball and delivering hittable sets. Post Falls OH Trinity Byrne was meshing well with the setter from Ridgeline, and the two helped RVC 17 to a 4-5 overall record, dropping the championship of the Silver bracket to a good NPJ Seattle 18 team. ( 8 players, 9 matches!) Arnold is a tireless worker who is always looking to improve, the rising senior put all the hours to good use at the ECC.

Arnold has shown excellent defense from her setter position, she stays home and makes sure to play defense first. The sophomore form Ridgeline will mix it up offensively, finding the pins, and the middles; then using her back-row attackers to find a favorable match-up. Arnold has great energy, it’s something she uses to keep her team upbeat no matter the score or situation.
