Class of 2026 5’9” Setter Amalia Toliopoulos Amalia Toliopoulos 5'9" | S York | 2026 State IL : Amalia plays for York High School and plays club for New Wave. She was listed as a setter for the Expo, but also plays outside hitter. She hammered 136 kills as a freshman for the Dukes. Amalia is so versatile and is super athletic. She has great hands and runs through balls so well on defense. She would be a great addition to play all the way around and hit from the front row and set from the back row!
Class of 2025 5’11” Jorah Rutter Jorah Rutter 6'0" | S Hampshire | 2025 State IL : Jorah plays for Hampshire High School and club for Top Flight. Rutter is a tall and lanky player that pushes the ball pin to pin well. She is also an offensive threat with a sneaky dump to the donut or a long dump shot to the corner in deep zone 1. Rutter has a powerful serve which led to 41 ace serves this past fall and kept teams scrambling to stay in system. Jorah had 429 set assists and 82 kills for the Whip-Purs in her sophomore campaign. She is a strong setter to have on your radar!
Class of 2024 5’9” Isabella Meier: Meier plays for La Porte High School in Indiana and plays club for Kealoha Volleyball Club. Isabella has great quick hands and tracks the ball well. She pushes the ball to pins well and jumps sets most sets. She had 502 set assists, and 95 kills for the Slicers this past fall. Meier also distributes the ball so well across the net to keep blockers guessing. Take note of this strong setter!
Overall the setters were very versatile and athletic in Illinois. Keep these athletes on your radar as club season approaches!
