Banzai VBC has been known for mixing and matching age groups with good results. Glock ended 2023 with a breakout sophomore season, as she posted over three kills per set for Ashland-Greenwood High School. She has found her groove once again with Banzai VBC 17 Select, a group that already has GJNC experience from last year. Glock’s steady attacking and lockdown defense was a big factor in 17 Select’s runner-up finish at WCQ. Now, she’ll have a chance to showcase those skills again at Nationals.

Do we dare put a single position label on this Ashland-Greenwood star? Glock did her share of attacking this year with over three kills per set for the Bluejays. But she’s also listed as a DS on some rosters, and a lot of that has to do with Glock’s tremendous defensive instincts along the end line. She soared past four digs per set in 2023, which would rival most primary liberos in the Cornhusker State. Prepare to see a lot whenever Glock takes the floor.

Ashland-Greenwood is always a Lincoln-area competitor to watch, and athletes like Glock help perpetuate the team’s success. Glock is an adaptable pin hitter who dropped over 250 kills in her debut season. She can play on either side and even has a setting repertoire in her game whenever the situation warrants.
