#11, Shavonne Smith (Shawnee)– Junior for the Golden Eagles, Shavonne Smith, had 70 service aces in 46 sets. In one of Shawnee’s biggest games of the season against Valley, Smith tallied 5 service aces in a three-set match. Smith performs at a high level always, but she has this extra gear she can step into when the game gets tight. All competitors have this notch they can reach if it’s necessary, and that is exactly what Smith contains. She’ll be a force in her senior year!
#12, Kayley Harrison (Berea)– A six rotation senior outside hitter for Berea, Kayley Harrison counted 84 service aces in 59 sets. She also had 119 kills and 141 digs. Harrison impacted the team whether she was in the front row or the back row, and she knew how to bring out the big guns behind the line. Serving was her way to lead the team when they were down, and it was quite obvious because she averaged 1.42 aces per set.
#13, Emma Adamson Emma Adamson OH Robertson County | 2025 State KY (Robertson County)– Serving 96 aces in 68 sets, Emma Adamson Emma Adamson OH Robertson County | 2025 State KY killed it this past year for Robertson County with 144 kills and 103 digs. As just a sophomore, Adamson led the team in every category and took charge as captain. In their last game this season against Harrison County, Adamson finished with 7 kills, 5 digs, and 3 service aces. Adamson has a strong float serve that is super deep and just flies off her hand. It’ll be a fun serve to watch for years to come.
#14, Timmy Elis (Lawrence County)– Senior stud for Lawrence County, Timmy Elis, all-around outside, let the team in digs and service aces with 221 and 108. Averaging 1.40 aces per set, you could always count on Elis behind the service line with her country-strong power. Elis never failed to give it her all and motivated the team with her effort and attitude. Finishing the year with an all-district team selection, Elis was a key to their squad for Lawrence County and will be missed.
#15, Alyssa Dixon Alyssa Dixon 5'3" | DS/L Perry County Central | 2025 State KY (Perry County Central)– Previously mentioned in my top digs article, Alyssa Dixon Alyssa Dixon 5'3" | DS/L Perry County Central | 2025 State KY also showed out behind the service line with 128 aces. Averaging 1.38 aces per set, Dixon also had around 7.17 digs per set. She was constantly making the people around her better and raising their level of play. As a libero, your job is to take charge of the back row, and that’s exactly what Dixon did this season. Her numbers might prove it but so did her contagious personality and infectious spirit. Dixon, as just a sophomore, led Perry County Central and earned an all-district team selection.
