Small yet mighty and young but determined, these ten players are already doing big things. Libero/Defensive Specialist: The somewhat obvious position for any player 5'5'' or shorter. Despite being one of the shortest on their team's, they typically have better coordination and muscle mass; making them great passers and servers. Abbie Higley (5'5''); Cambridge-Isanti - MN Select Elie Lesch (5'2''); Minneota - SW MN Jenna Rubbelke (5'2''); North St. Paul - North Jrs. Lola Wagner (5'4''); Zumbrota Mazeppa Outside Hitters: This group is made up of athletic, explosive jumpers. They have fast approaches, and play defense with the best. We anticipate height to match their power in years to come! Tessa Erlandson (5'6''); Kenyon Wannamingo - SMV Ainsley Halvorsen (5'5''); Heritage Christian - Crossfire Kennedy McCabe (5'4''); Mabel Canton Lindsey Rossow (5'6''); Rochester (RCLS) - SMV Setter/Right-side: Two very versatile players who can set and attack.
