Haley is impressive to say the least. When she gets her set, she detonates from anywhere on the floor. Great top spin on her hits, picks her spots with great accuracy, and can get above and on top of the blockers. She has a powerful and quick swing and somehow seems quick to the ball. Impressive!

was going to be one plenty of Big Ten schools would be heavily recruiting. She can do it all as an outside hitter who can serve receive, pass, and score points from the front and back row. One of her greatest strengths as a player is that there is very little weakness. She has quite the bag of tricks when it comes to making shots and has a very high IQ in regards to how to find the open spot on the court. Her backcourt game with serve receive to defense is next level where she can find a way to get on the court at the next level in multiple ways. This is an exciting time for Penn State who is off to a hot start that has resulted in a #3 national ranking and features Chicagoland athletes Gillian Grimes and Ava Falduto pacing the backrow.

Burgdorf will be heading to the Crimson Classic where she can completely take over a match. She is so solid in serve receive and can pass to attack from anywhere. Her ability to score points is special. She can blast with the best of them cross court and down the line, but it is her shot making ability that sets her apart. The ability to change speeds, angles, and use the block to her advantage is what brings her to an elite level. She will be taking her game to Penn State following high school, continuing a Chicago pipeline to Happy Valley.

Sports Performance 16 Elite has had a huge season, finishing in the final four at multiple high level events. Burgdorf played on 16 Elite last season and is now playing with her own age group. She is very fundamentally sound where she is a primary passer in serve receive, can defend, and score points from anywhere on the court. This will be a team that will have plenty of high level college programs watching this summer with a roster full of big time 2026 talent.

Haley is reliable, explosive, and competitive as a pin. She is clean in pass-to-attack and has the potential to be a very high-level 6-rotation player. She has great court awareness and a high volleyball IQ. Last season she played up an age division for Sports Performance 16 Elite. She has one of the most powerful cut shots I have seen at this level and can just as easily rip a ball down the line. Haley can also play on both pins making her absolutely lethal in a variety of positions.
