With a full prep season completed and a big chunk of the 2023 club season in the books, we are starting to get a better feel for 2026 prospects.

While we have focused on some of the players that had big prep seasons, there are still plenty of talents on our Watch List that are putting in the work.

Here's part 1 of our series looking at Watch List players and the strides they are making.

[player_tooltip player_id='226874' first='Anwen' last='Amash'], DS/L Grand Rapids Christian/MVA

Amash has shown the ability to play all around the court when needed, but her defensive skills are what have stood out the most. She's got a long each and is athletic off the floor, which brings a different dynamic than other DS players.

[player_tooltip player_id='226875' first='Ella' last='Andrews'], MB Grosse Pt. South/Legacy

Andrews has a lot of promise as a 6'3” middle that can also play on the outside. She's been shining this club season and proving she could be one of the strongest middle prospects in the Midwest, if not the entire country. Andrews is able to bring the ball down at very sharp angles with a lot of velocity. When she's on with her setter, there's no stopping her.

[player_tooltip player_id='226876' first='Finley' last='Arp'], OH South Christian/FaR Out

Arp has already been able to showcase some of her potential at the varsity level for South Christian and is now adding to her game this club season. She's a composed player that plays with a lot of maturity for a 2026 prospect. Her form on her attacks is consistent and she's able to cover a lot of ground defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='226877' first='Olivia' last='Beaudrie'], OH SMCC/Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='226877' first='Olivia' last='Beaudrie']

Beaudrie brings a solid all-around game to the court, which is commonplace for SMCC products. She doesn't have the length of a lot of other outsides, but she's very steady with her swing, not committing a lot of errors. Her agility also allows her to quickly shift from offense to defense and make dig to kill look seamless.

[player_tooltip player_id='226878' first='Paige' last='Bierlein'], MB Brighton/L2

Bierlein is able to play anywhere across the net, which is a big asset for her club and prep teams. She moves her attack locations around well and tries to challenge a variety of defenders. Her form and footwork are steady.

[player_tooltip player_id='226879' first='Samantha' last='Broutin'], OH Notre Dame Prep

Broutin saw some time with the Irish this past fall and is going to be another versatile option for them in the years to come. Broutin has been able to play almost anywhere on the floor and be impactful. She's got good patience at the net and also a sharp eye defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='226880' first='Chloe' last='Burns'], S Dexter/Michigan Elite

Burns can also play DS or RS and looks comfortable in each position. Her communication skills are at a high level having to play the setter and DS spots. Burns doesn't look rattled in a hectic point and is very aware of where the play is heading on both sides of the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='226881' first='Reagan' last='Cederquist'], OH Montague

Cederquist got some experience with the Montague varsity program this fall, which was a good learning experience. She showed some potential to be imposing at the net as a 6-foot middle. Focus until next fall will be on a stronger finishing rate and improving her blocking reads. The 2023 season could be a nice breakout fall for Cederquist.

With a full prep season completed and a big chunk of the 2023 club season in the books, we are starting to get a better feel for 2026 prospects.
