Break-through 2024 Prospects at PNQ

These athletes may have been flying under the radar, but their hard work and progress have them standing out for their teams. The SIVBC 17 Storm team had some big wins over the weekend, and the standout from Newport High School played a big part in the team's success. She has a calm setup, and with her neutral hands, she can hold blockers and gives herself the maximum chance for success on a setter dump. She has a hard-angle swing, and a corner shot down the line she likes to utilize. Haddaler can close quickly on a tip or roll, and she gets a good read on the opposing offense and defense. She did attack from the outside in school ball at times, and SNVF is utilizing that versatility to find her scoring chances. She has a terrific knack for popping up balls off the block before they hit the floor. Her passing out of serve receive is terrific, and many of her Blue Royals opponents tried to target anyone but her with their serve. Against Excel NW 17, she delivered accurately in serve receive, and RVC was able to run the middle and score. Witherow passes free balls at a good tempo, letting her setter run a fast-tempo offense. Importantly, her energy and communication stayed at a high level on the court.
