<p><strong>Asics</strong> <strong>Show Me Qualifier</strong></p>

<p>There were still some 15s playing in Kansas City last week though a couple of divisions played the weekend prior. In the American Division, <strong>[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']' last=''] 15 Elite </strong>ran the table to win the gold ball and a bid. [player_tooltip player_id='261112' first='Lauren' last='Fenemore'], Olivia Liertz, and the squad dropped two sets over the three days in an impressive run. </p>

<p><strong>Adidas Windy City Qualifier</strong></p>

<p>In the 16 Open, <strong>HPSTL 16 Royal</strong> had another great performance with a second-place finish to double qualify after earning a bid at Sunshine Classic previously. [player_tooltip player_id='168037' first='Hannah' last='Leftridge'], [player_tooltip player_id='169895' first='Tara' last='Greenberry'], and company went 7-3 on the weekend. </p>

<p><strong>KC Challenge 17-1</strong> came up one match short of earning a bid after dropping the championship match in three tightly contested sets. <strong>HPSTL 17 White</strong> ended up third, as they were defeated by KC Challenge in the semifinals. </p>

<p>Two teams from the east side of their respective states upgraded their bids in 17 Open in Chicago. First, <strong>[program_tooltip program_id='428799' first='Rockwood' last='Thunder'] 17 Elite</strong> who came in holding a Freedom Bid made it all the way to the last match before losing to 1st Alliance. From the east side of Kansas, <strong>Mavs KC 17-1 </strong>moves up from their American bid to join the Open fray at Nationals. Both Rockwood and Mavs went 2-0 in gold pool play. Mavs were tripped up by 1st Alliance, while Rockwood took down NKYVC 17-1 Tsunami. With Tsunami already holding an open bid, Mavs earn a bid. </p>

<p>Van Horn and Mizuno Club North standout [player_tooltip player_id='123469' first='Sanoma' last='Hunter'] recently signed to play her college ball at Drury University in Springfield, MO. The 6'1" middle blocker has been key in the middle for the USA-qualified 18-1 team after a standout high school career. On the other side of the state line, [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 18 Blue and Blue Valley Northwest player [player_tooltip player_id='214673' first='Akayla' last='Kador'] made her pledge to play at Ottawa University in Ottawa, KS. </p>
