Our second edition of the Naptown Jamboree continues in identifying available athletes in the class of '24 playing in the 16/17 Open division. With over 300 teams coming to the tournament, these three have athletes that should make major collegiate impacts starting in the fall of 2024.

From the Fort Wayne area, this particular roster has a bunch of hybrid athletes---kids that can perform well in the indoor game as well as the outdoor game. [player_tooltip player_id='381528' first='Ella' last='Bock'] ('24, 5-7 OH, Bishop Dwenger) is exactly one of those hybrids. Her ball control is solid in every match, and she always finds a way to score points with smart, high-IQ decisions. [player_tooltip player_id='381529' first='Emmy' last='Kennedy'] ('24, 5-10 MB, Leo) and [player_tooltip player_id='381527' first='Jessica' last='Slick'] ('24, 5-8 S, Leo) are a pair from Leo High School that each bring something unique to the table. Emmy can hit in front of and behind the setter with ease, while Jessica's hands are high and accurate, and she always seems to find the right hitter in the right situation.

This team's success lies with their ball control. [player_tooltip player_id='112086' first='Sophie' last='Ledbetter'] ('24, 5-8 DS/L, Hamilton Southeastern) has a state title under her belt as the libero, and can be just that in the fall of '24. [player_tooltip player_id='234692' first='Ella' last='Young'] ('24, 5-7 DS/L, New Castle) has a quiet upper body to go with her ever-moving feet. [player_tooltip player_id='171371' first='Meryl' last='Zunk'] ('24, 5-10 RS/OH, Brebeuf) would be best suited as a right side for a smaller school, as her length and strength show out on the right pin.

With nearly every player on this roster already committed to play somewhere in the fall of '24, we can focus on [player_tooltip player_id='110515' first='Riley' last='Whitlock'] ('24, 5-10 RS/OH, Harrison). Quick on transition, a whiplike arm and a smart all-around player is what you get from Miss Whitlock, who could play either pin with ease. I like her springy jump as well, as she plays much bigger than her frame suggests with that athleticism of hers.
