<p>Prep Dig scouted the adidas [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last='']' last=''] 16-3 (Gold) team's second match of the Freedom division's gold bracket play.</p>

<p>The Match was won by the [program_tooltip program_id='428884' first='Kansas' last='United Volleyball'] 16-1 squad in two sets 25-16 and 26-24.</p>

<p>Here is a report on four players who played well for the Gold Brand which finished with a 5-1 match record on the weekend.</p>

<p><strong>Ava Foote</strong>, 5'8”, OH, Blue Valley Southwest</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Foote plays with a high motor and can play six rotations. She finished with seven serve receptions, three digs, and one kill. Foote is a very poised hitter who adjusts well to the ball. Her specialty is hitting down the line. She will improve her recruiting stock down the line by increasing her upper body strength and working on hitting crosscourt. She is a consistent dangerous hitter, but right now her ball just does not bowl people over.</p>

<p><strong>Lily Kanatzer</strong>, 5'10”, MH, St. James Academy</p>

<p>Kanatzer has a big reach and can it the ball. She finished with two kills in the match against Kansas United. She will get a chance to improve her game as she plays with perennial state title contender St. James Academy. Kanatzer did not see any varsity action in 2022 but will have a chance in 2023 as the Thunder lose four solid seniors in 2023.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493569' first='Brekhan' last='Waters']</strong>, 5'9”, OH, Mill Valley</p>

<p>Waters was noticeable in the loss with two kills and two blocks. She is not a defensive liability and has a solid serve. Depending on Mill Valley's needs in 2023 she could be a six-rotation option. Improved court communication and confidence will be key for her as she progresses. She has the physical skill set to take over a game, now just needs to put the whole package together. She should be a key cog in the Mill Valley program moving forward.</p>
