What I didn't know is they would win the whole thing in what looked like an easy journey. A team that looked a tad different with players leaving for college early or moving clubs, they gelled at the right time to win the National Division going a perfect 9-0.

The past few years the team was set by [player_tooltip player_id='101566' first='Ella' last='Swindle'], who left early for the University of Texas but they were in good hands with [player_tooltip player_id='98678' first='Sydney' last='Draper'], who had set up a division during that span. MB [player_tooltip player_id='152166' first='Ali' last='Olson'] has been a staple in the [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last=''] lineup for years. Ava Testrake returned for her final campaign along with defensive player [player_tooltip player_id='150080' first='Reese' last='Bates']. Sprinkle in new faces such as tournament MVP [player_tooltip player_id='99226' first='Ashlyn' last='Bellamy'] and libero [player_tooltip player_id='120045' first='Skylar' last='Weaver'], the team was destined to make a splash in Ohio.

[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']' last=''] dominated the national division only dropping one set along the way and that was to local foe [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']' last=''] 18 Elite in a crossover match. Their closes match in pool play would be the first match of the tournament. They would finish the tournament with a -17 sweep in both sets over NOVA Juniors 18 Navy. Besides Bellamy and Weaver, Testrake also made the all-tournament team.
