[player_tooltip player_id='442553' first='Emery' last='Gingrich'] - Alamo

Outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='442553' first='Emery' last='Gingrich'] stayed under the radar for a lot of the showcase, which can be expected with freshman. Once I caught onto her number, I really focused in on her ability to terminate and find holes in the defense. She can definitely swing away and swing hard, but I saw a huge variety of shots, especially a line shot and tip that was hard to beat. The outside hitter from Alamo boasts some of the famous Alamo skills such as gritty determination, laser focus, and competitive spirit.

[player_tooltip player_id='438670' first='Arayah' last='Watson'] - Houston Skyline

[player_tooltip player_id='438670' first='Arayah' last='Watson'] can take the net home with her after today's showcase. Dominating both offensively and defensively, Watson was a true middle, blocking and hitting anything with in her range. She bring a lot of energy to her court, and her team of 6 fed off of it. Arayah will go into a star studded Fulshear volleyball program this year in high school, and I am sure we will see big things out of her in the high school scene.

Devyne Wilkes - [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors']

A pin hitter that packed a punch today was [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] Devyne Wilkes. Vary rarely did we see her out of control at the net. She seemed focused and zoned into the drills and took some big swings that wowed her freshman classmates. She made very minimal errors throughout the day and stood out in her all around play as well as her heavy arm.

[player_tooltip player_id='438347' first='Kenli' last='Irwin'] - Xcel Volleyball

Middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='438347' first='Kenli' last='Irwin'] turned heads today with her hops and versatility as a middle. Although she wasn't the tallest one on the court, she can definitely jump and hang with a challenge. She was one of the most active middles on the floor, asking for every set, talking on every ball, and transitioning quick to be in the offense.
