2023 PD Stock-Up Showcase Top Dogs (MI)

The series offers athletes from across the country the opportunity to show off their skills before heading into the fall season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Michigan Stock-Up did not disappoint, standouts aplenty, here were some of the best!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='226899' first='Cree' last='Hollier'] - 5'9 MB - Mercy</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most impressive verticals in the gym, we've said it before and we'll say it again, Hollier may look small - but she is MIGHTY! Hollier's ability to pop and float in the air is crazy to watch. She has a live arm that can bring the heat but she also has the brains to chop away some impressive shots as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261135' first='Clare' last='Beazley'] - 5'11 MB - Saline</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I don't think this will be the last we hear of Beazley in the near future. A recent addition to next year's MiElite 16 Mizuno squad, Beazley is poised to have a big fall at Saline as well. Beazley is great jumper and has a nice all around game to her as a middle. Her athleticism takes her a long ways and the more focused she becomes on volleyball, the more dangerous she will become.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hannah Pardon - 5'10 OH - Brandon </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top pin attackers in the stock up portion of the showcase. She approaches big and swings big! Entering into her junior season at Brandon, Pardon will have to take on a big load to lead her team to big things. An opportunity perfect for Pardon to take on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Korrin Hutton - 5'7 S - Anchor Bay</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hustle, hustle, hustle, HUSTLE! That is the name of the game for Hutton and it does NOT go unnoticed. If her future as a setter doesn't pan out or she gets the opportunity to DS or libero, she would fit that role perfectly. Hutton runs a really tight ship on her offense however, which makes it hard to take her out of running the offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='442628' first='Elizabeth' last='White'] - 5'4 L - Saline </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another product out of Saline, the depth of defensive specialists in their gym is quite commendable. White has the makings to be the next top DS/L out of the Hornet cannon. A go-getter in the back court, she's going after it all. Much like Beazley, the more focused on the game White becomes, the more dangerous she will become as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261165' first='Jolie' last='Yaldoo'] - 5'0 L - Marian</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another Marian product showing off their chops at the UWM Sport Complex, Yaldoo is going to have a really nice career ahead of her. Only a sophomore, much like the rest of the field, Yaldoo shows a lot of promise in her game. Scrappy, loud and in charge of the back court - Yaldoo does some real nice things.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='288958' first='Madelyn' last='Krappmann'] - 5'10 OH - Everest Collegiate </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Her jump is fast and her swing is even faster. Krappman plays really well above the net and brings down some serious thunder along with her swing. She's named one of the standouts of the showcase for a reason. Everest Collegiate has a real nice piece to their game and I am sure she'll do well leading them this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='203380' first='Kennedi' last='Friendly'] - 5'7 OH - Southfield A&amp;T </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Their is nothing friendly about this player when she gets ahold of that ball. Friendly hits a really heavy ball with a smooth hand to ball contact. She jumps out of the gym - much needed given her size - and has a real nice array of shots to bring in the point to her side. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261140' first='Ella' last='Azbell'] - 5'9 OH - Holly</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Azbell has a hammer of an arm. She sees the set well and makes great work with what she's given. A lot of attackers like to rush into the ball, but Azbell takes her time and gives a great blow to every ball she gets. Alongside her sister Angelina, the two should make a great duo this fall for Holly.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='261124' first='Angelina' last='Azbell'] - 6'0 OPP - Holly </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Like noted with her sister, Ella, the Azbell girls are going to be a duo no one wants to see across the net. Angelina plays a really fluid game, she jumps well and can hit anywhere along the net, but has a nice knack to score on the right pin. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
