Nebraska 2026 Rankings Update: New Additions (Part 3)

It has been quite a journey.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few weeks, we have added dozens of Nebraska athletes to our database across multiple classes. That includes the athletes mentioned in Part 1 and Part 2 of our feature series on the 2026 rankings, which will bookend our mid-season updates. Her positive block touches have also been an asset for the Bluejays, who have become known for their ball control. She has a career average over five digs per set and has anchored the Mustang backcourt en route to a winning effort this year. And, when the Braves need some quality defensive touches, Smutny always seems to know where opposing hitters are targeting their attacks. Carrying so many different responsibilities might be daunting for an underclassman, but Turman is ready for this dual role. Not only is she putting down three kills per set for Hay Springs, but she's adding assists and digs at nearly the same clip. This impressive range has culminated in about three kills per set to be Fairbury's second-leading scorer in 2023.
