Gardiner brings a steady mix of leadership, composure, and competitiveness that raises the intensity of every match. She describes her approach simply: “I compete with the same high intensity every point, no matter if the score is 5-5 or 24-24.” Known for her relentless work ethic and willingness to communicate under pressure, she continues to strengthen her physicality and on-court confidence. Coaches can count on her to bring consistent energy, focus, and effort to any lineup.
She is looking for a collegiate program surrounded by “competitive but kind people” and guided by coaches who challenge her to grow on and off the court. Gardiner’s foundation in faith and team-first mentality set her apart as a dependable, thoughtful leader. Off the court, she finds balance through photography, baking, and seasonal decorating, reflecting the same care and creativity she brings to her game. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

‘s reel showcases her strengths as a player by demonstrating her ability to go against the flow and disguise her set choices while remaining disciplined on defense instead of releasing early to the net. In her reel, Blair creates multiple one-on-one situations for her hitters, providing them with the necessary tempo and time to score. She includes defensive reactions and digs that illustrate how she stays back on defense, and she occasionally throws a dump to keep opposing defenders honest, hoping to slow them down from releasing, and then transitions into faster tempo sets so her hitters can beat the defenders down the line or through gaps in the block.
Recently, Blair has been working hard to improve her game by incorporating more plyometrics into her lifting routine to increase her vertical jump and speed, and she has been practicing setting wall drills to fine-tune her touch on the ball and improve her consistency. Blair wants college coaches to know that she works hard in every practice, no matter how she is feeling. She always plays hard to win, playing for an audience of one, and gives the glory to God, who has given her the ability to chase her goals and dreams—He is her biggest motivation. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

Michael Jordan once said: “If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” I love this quote because the greatest performing athletes always find ways to get around those walls with relentless pursuit of their goals. I often remind myself that I have to be willing to struggle to be successful on this journey to becoming a top performer. Fortunately, I am someone who LOVES going to practices, doing private lessons, setting clinics, and any extra reps I can get!

and I’m a 2026 Setter with a 4.25 GPA. I’m the starting setter for
SoCal Athletics Volleyball Club
on the 16-1s (Beacons), and attend Santa Fe Christian in Solana Beach CA. In my family, volleyball is more than just a game…It’s a tradition. My Mom was a former D1 All-American and collegiate volleyball coach. Her influence has been monumental for me. I have such a love for the sport, and as a setter, my approach goes beyond just technique. I focus on reading the game, outsmarting opponents, and consistently staying one move ahead. I am always studying video on how to better myself and my team’s offense.
This season at SoCal 16-1, we’ve hit the ground running (currently 17th) in the SCVA and are very excited for our upcoming major events:
-Red Rock Rave from March 30-April 1
-NEQ – Philadelphia – April 26-28
-GJNC July 3-6
I’m so excited to see what the rest of this season has in store for my team. And I can’t wait to travel and compete!
