Stover Sectional Win:
Stover didn’t know who was going to show up and play them in the sectional round. Was it Houston or Licking? The whole mess between those two schools and MSHSAA was a complete disaster. Whoever they were going to play Stover was ready and waiting at home for whoever would show up.
Top Players:
Ashlyn Pinzke Ashlyn Pinzke 5'9" | OH Stover | 2025 State MO – 2025 – 5’9” – Outside

305 kills and 302 digs
Hannah Bauer Hannah Bauer S Stover | 2024 State MO – 2024 – 5’3” – Libero
296 digs
Prediction: These two met in the same game last year and Hermann thumped Stover 25-14, 25-11, 25-11 but this is a new Hermann team. Stover is seeking revenge and could give Hermann a run for their money. When it comes to the state playoffs in Class 2 no program can hold a candle to the Bearcats. They are seeking their 16th state championship and 8th straight trip. Stover is seeking its first trip since a 3rd place finish in 1984. This won’t be the year Stover makes a return as the Class 2 power Bearcats keep the season alive with a 3-1 win.
