Russell (*pictured) is 5’7 with some big tools as an attacker. She is athletic with good mechanics with her footwork and arm in the air. She can swing aggressively to produce speed while also making plays in other ways at the net. With ability to score from both pins and the back row, she has a complete skill set worth a look. She averaged nearly two kills per set for Steele in 2025 as she had an impressive overall stat line with 161 kills, 356 assists, 183 digs, and 47 service aces.

At 5’7, Russell is not afraid to take big swings against taller defenders in front of her. She moves well through her approach work and elevates well to swing aggressively. She is a confident competitor that brings good energy to her team. For Steele, she was part of their core offense adding nearly two kills per set through a .201 efficiency. She led the Comets in aces while also finishing among team leaders with 183 total digs.
