Five New Additions To The Class Of ’26 Rankings

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We've added nearly twenty new names to the 2026 rankings, and all of them are already making waves at both the high school and club levels. Here they are, in no particular order, with positions, high schools and clubs that they can been seen playing at this coming spring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='400680' first='Tenley' last='Davis'], 6-1 OH, Chesterton, 1st Alliance</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A big and strong outside, Tenley is a pass-to-attack beast on the left pin. Her strength is her physicality---she hits a heavy ball while having all of the athleticism to go over, around and through blocks. I like that she uses max energy in every transition, regardless of if she passed the first contact or not. She could easily be transferred to the right pin, as her approach is highly repeatable. Either way, Tenley is a solid D1 recruit that already plays with more maturity than a lot of outsides in this class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='450227' first='Elizabeth' last='Ryan'], 6-1 OH, Evansville North, Evansville United</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Although Miss Ryan has a slighter build than Miss Davis listed above, she actually has a <em>higher</em> attack touch at nearly ten feet already in her young career. Yet another pass-to-attack player, Elizabeth hits the right shot at the right time no matter where she's located along the front row. Her line shots on the right side are already next-level for a kid this age, but she can also be a primary passer at the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='435836' first='Ashlynn' last='Turner'], 6-0 MB, Noblesville, [program_tooltip program_id='431513' first='Munciana' last='Indy']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Playing behind a veteran pair of middles at Noblesville (the Resmers, by the way), Ashlynn is a hidden gem of an athlete playing in the middle. Her arm is quick, she transitions well, and could easily be an M2 at the next level with continued development. Her attack is high as well---I'm looking forward to seeing a setter this club season that can set high enough to take advantage of her long reach. Her net defense is elite as well, as she uses that same length to slow down a ton of different types of hitters.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='382605' first='Abbie' last='Henson'], 6-0 OH, Valparaiso, Michio Chicago VBA</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another long and lean outside, Abbie hits <em>over</em> blocks more often than not. Her jumping ability is only superseded by her volleyball acuity, as she always seems to hit the right shot in the right situation. I'm hoping that her club setter will take time to make the connection this winter, as her development will be contingent on (1) how quickly Abbie adjusts to older and higher-level ball, and (2) the schedule that they might play this spring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='298094' first='Annabelle' last='Hoban'], 5-5 DS/L, Cathedral, Rev</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I don't often talk about defensive specialists until absolutely necessary. For Miss Hoban, it's necessary. Quick on her feet with a quiet platform, Annabelle knows nothing but winning and hard work, as both go hand in hand for most Cathedral athletes. She can play any of the three back row positions on defense, and can receive serve in half the court to take pressure off of her fellow passers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
